"The German Oceanographic Museum is a great testimony and advertisement for the maritime field and Educational performance of our state and beyond. eV The German Oceanographic Museum Friends of the Museum work has supported since its inception with almost 300,000 €. This is a respectable sum, and is mainly due to the club contributions and to the tireless efforts of its members in attracting donations.
The museum requires such additional revenue to quality exhibitions and educational approaches can be implemented successfully. With the support of the club was purchased in the past years, many additional exhibits for exhibitions and scientific collections of the museum.
